Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction

Is jaw pain preventing you from eating the crunchy food that you once enjoyed or singing your favorite tunes out loud?
If you are having pain in your jaw with eating, yawning, singing, etc, you may have Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction, otherwise known as "TMD".
TMD is a debilitating condition that’s sometimes related to trauma or malfunction of the jaw and/or muscles around the jaw. Some common symptoms associated with TMD include painful clicking or popping sounds with jaw movement, head aches and/or reduced range of motion of the jaw, just to name a few.
The condition is most common among 20-40 year old women, although it's estimated that at least 35% of the entire US population suffers from one or more symptoms related to TMD. As wearisome as TMD is, it can be treated conservatively SUCCESSFULLY!
